of catch and release.
About Our Club:
We host the annual Jupiter Challenge Tournament.
We sponsor a year round intra-club competition for the Angler
of the Year, Together with the Town of Jupiter Parks & Recreation
we host the Youth Fishing Program. This four-part program teaches
local kids about fishing at the inlet, jetty, beach, on a drift
boat and on our new north county pier.
We support and are proud members of The
International Game Fish Association, the Coastal
Conservation Association and The
Billfish Foundation. We also support the Artificial
Reef Program.
At each of our regular monthly meetings a guest speaker
brings us current information on techniques, the environment, and
new products. We promote fun family involvement in our many club
social events including sand bar gatherings, fish fries, picnics
and participation in local civic events.
Regular meetings of JIOFC are held year round, on
the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., in our clubhouse at
Jupiter's Old Town Hall Building, 1000 Town Hall Drive, Jupiter,
